The Bespoke Process
Consultation
An unhurried conversation at the atelier. You discover our fabrics, feel each texture, and together we envision your garment — style, occasion, personality.
Measurements
Over 48 individual measurements, posture and proportion analysis. From these, we create a pattern that is exclusively yours — no other client will have the same.
Crafting
Weeks of artisanal work at our Itaim Bibi atelier. Traditional Neapolitan techniques: natural horsehair canvas, floating stitches, hand-sewn buttonholes. Every stitch placed with intention.
Fitting
Two to three fitting sessions, where every detail is refined to your body — shoulders, chest, waist, length. The moment the garment begins to become yours.
Delivery
Your finished garment, every seam reviewed, every detail in place. Ready to accompany you for decades — and to improve with time, as all artisanal pieces do.
Our Garments
Suit
Jacket and trousers in full canvas construction, entirely hand-sewn. The fabric follows the body, natural shoulders lend ease, and the drape improves with every wear — as all artisanal garments made to last.
Jacket / Blazer
Artisanal construction with a Neapolitan shoulder — no padding, no stiffness. The jacket drapes over the body naturally, enhances the silhouette, and allows freedom of movement. Clean, light, distinctive.
Trousers
Cut to measure with attention to drape and comfort. High or mid-rise waist, pleated or flat front, side adjustment — every detail defined for your body and your way of dressing.
Shirt
Italian cotton and linen fabrics, hand-cut collars, personalized cuffs. Each shirt is built to fit with precision — from shoulder to sleeve length, nothing is approximate.
Special Orders
Some garments defy categorization — because they are born from a singular desire. A winter coat with the soul of an overcoat. An overcoat that reinterprets a family legacy. A piece that exists only in the client's imagination, until it takes shape in the tailor's hands.
At Sartoria, special orders are our most intimate territory. Each project begins with a deep conversation — we listen to the vision, understand the intention, and build together, stitch by stitch, a garment that did not exist in the world until that moment. Coats, overcoats, jackets, and bespoke creations: the extraordinary begins where the conventional ends.
Fabrics
Wools, cashmeres, silks, and linens from Loro Piana, Ermenegildo Zegna, Scabal, and Vitale Barberis Canonico. Each roll comes from the finest mills in Italy and Europe — selected for touch, drape, and durability. During your visit to the atelier, you can see and feel every option before choosing.
